Air to Water MSP Inside

honestly, in case you haven't noticed yet, i don't know jack s*** about cars. mainly because i have driven mine for a total of 4 months this year. but anyways, you shouldn't be drinking on a weekday alone at home

I've always wanted a Laminova-like exchanger! Since you're already dealing with a water (coolant) system, why not add in a water-injection system that could be triggered by temperature (or pressure, or other)? That could take care of the occasional heat-soak. It's just an idea...

those are nice but WAY expensive from wht i saw.pwr makes barrell intercoolers whic are nice but thos one just worked so well for me. u can definalty use water injection, based on what they claim its even good for 20 psi so i wouldnt even use an ic(based on snows claims). i have apretty large heat exchanger soi dont have to worry about heat soak. my main idea was to go overbaord cause its a daily driver and that seems to break all the rules.

well methanol does boil at 65c so i wouldn't keep a methanold tank under the hood, totally pointless

We are so Far off ******* topic with all this gay ass Metenol s***..

1. Liquid IC uses Coolant.
2. It's pumped from a tank to a cooler (Radiator) and then passes a heat exchanger in the charge path (Cools Air)
3. Heated coolant returns to tank.

No Gasses, No Spray. The system is heavy but compact at the Throttle Body. It's used when space is limited. It is more effecient but more complicated and expensive.

And -this is important for a daily driver- it cools even at idle or low speed (i.e. in traffic) so it's more consistent, but more complex as well

Install a fan on your FMIC..

nice setup, differant and good.. liquid nitrogen man... liquid nitrogen.......

another off the wall idea, how about running the low side line of the ac through the resivior, that way it will cool it below ambient, turn the ac off and go!!!!!!!!

just move to Quebec for the winter, drive around when it's 20 to 40 below 0 =)

who said ambiant temperature was bad?

The Cobalt SS SC uses a Liquid Ic as well.

It works well until you start with the Stage Kits.

The coolant heatsoaks but IMO, your core looks like it is much larger so I think it will work Awesome!

Check who else had air-water heat-exchangers!

Can you guess?

Perrinperformance.com just release a "new" water injection kit. From the specs, it looks promising. Reminds me a lot of the aquamist kits.

Is it cheaper? The Aquamist is nice, but pricey...
