Hi Everyone!
I am fairly mechanically savy. I have worked at garages in the summer during high school.
I Installed The AEM intake on my 2005 Mazda 3 Hatch. Install went incredibly smooth(Except for the bolt closest to the bumper to remove the lower part of the old air box assembly). I went for a little drive afterwards and I scared the crap out of these old people once it hit over 4000 RPM. In fact, i wasn't expecting it to make such a loud noise. It almost felt like just before it shifted the car was gonna shake apart.
My Question. Is this normal? I have friends with intakes and exhaust combos and this intake alone comes close to the sound of the aftermarket exhaust they have.
Thanks guys,
