yea they have but the problem is that all the wires are fine and everything but i jus dont know what it could be the harness on the car i checked it and everything seems plugged in correctly

Did you arm/disarm your alarm?
or maybe someone unplugged the clutch selenoid...Dude, the car crancks?
Check your main fuse/relay... you were dealing with the main power circuits to your engine...maybe you blew a fuse or relay (w/o noticing, small spark that you didn't saw) ...check that (happened to me with my DSM once while installing the Microtec...yes Im sorry should've disconnect the battery first...)(thumb)

Hi!
I have an AEM F/IC also, running N/A and moving towards boosted.

First, let me say that the support from AEM by phone or on the AEM forum is very good in my experience.

#1 - Does the car run fine with the bypass jumper installed?
#2 - Do you have the z110.hex firmware re-flashed?
#3 - Can you log a datafile? Run zeroed out on all maps as a calibration file.

Has anyone else on here even gotten one to work with a MSP??

(#4 - ) Did you arm/disarm the alarm?

Mine works, I never had to do anything to the alarm on the P5.

If the car was running before and the unit is properly wired, the car will run fine again with the bypass jumper installed.

How'd I do?

well i contacted aem and what they told me is to try it with the jumper harness and also the car ran with a blown motor and after i did the rebuild it wouldnt start with stock computer and 440cc injectors but will the car run without a knock sencor?

I dont think the car will crank w/o a knock sensor.. Im sure its throwing a code.. Read them and see what they say..

forget about starting the engine with 440cc without tune the fuel trim aboute -30 or -40. it will be flooded. i tried with mine.

if it dont cranks id check somewhere else, maybe bypass the harness usin stock injector.

Glad to hear they said the same.
and good advice
let us know if it runs with the bypass...

ok and thats what i got the aem set two -40 but it cranks and i checked for spark and i get spark and i loose it also the car makes a loud pop when it cranks but i dont know whats goin onn

im preety sure the car is in timing plus i got adjustable cam gears so if there is a problem i can jus fix it but what i dnt get is the fact that the car gets spark and then looses it

Start off by disconnecting the FIC, and reconnecting the ECU. Then wire up each circuit to the F/IC individually and test from there. Thats the nice thing about the F/IC is that you can hook up as few or as many functions as you need for testing.

You never stated whether it would start with the bypass harness connected. You can try that as well, but youll have to put your stock injectors back in for the test.

Unless you really botched the cam and crankshaft position sensor wiring, I dont see how the F/IC is preventing spark. Or maybe you did something goofy like wire up the fuel injectors to the ignition coils, i dunno...

Another thing to check is your MAF settings in the setup of the program. Be sure that it is not modifing the maf signal by voltage instead of percentage. If its modifiying the MAF by voltage, and you have the MAF table zeroed out, your ECU will see zero volts from the maf sensor.

update!!!

well i tried the jumper harnes and no luck the car does the same thing it did befor i rechecked the timing and its right on point....

idk what else it can be

so youve got the jumper harness in and your stock fuel injectors and still no start.

Its not a problem with the AEM then.

Start looking into why you dont have either A - Fuel, or B - Spark.

i guess he said he got an backfire, it means maybe he gots the spark but not on right time ... timing problem.. check your crank sensor, your crank pullys trigger wheel, and cam timing.
