NVG's you bet, but believe me they lose their novelty pretty fast, say like wearing them on a 6 hours straight on a guard shift, useful, but not so fun to wear

exact worth, I'm not sure, what the Army says they're worth, and what they actually pay are probably two very different numbers, although I will say that losing a pair or breaking them because of carelessness is not taken very lightly, as is usually pretty painful for any and all involved
