Adjustable Mazda 2 Struts/Shocks

when i had my H&R springs installed I paid $450 including the alignment. Hell even my coilover install plus all the dicking around with ride height and alignment only came to $600 at my DEALER... not exactly the cheapest shop option in town...

Boom! I can't wait to install these. Opened the box and the struts/shocks look great guys!

Awesome! Are you going to wait for the cold weather to pass or tough it out and install them anyways?

I got quoted $800 for labor on this install.. seriously? Reputable shop too

I an guessing they have never installed suspension on a 2 before. On the top end it should take 3 hours of work. The rears take about 20 minutes for both sides, most of the time is on the fronts.

why cant you guys just send them installed already? lol.. i'm looking at other options.. no way the install should exceed the price of the parts. In my city, there are about a million mechanics and shops... even though only about 0.5% of them are probably actually certified. As long as they have the right tools, i assume this would be pretty fool proof.

You didnt ask us too...

We could have chased up the stock front parts to make them a bolt in for you.

Nice.. what are your plans for install.. diy? If not what are shops quoting you.

Diy install this weekend. Works out because I need to change the front
struts on my wifes car too.

Edit: that answers Derrick's question too. It's supposed to be in the low 70's on saturday.

Mine are blue too! Somebody get those shocks+struts installed already!!!!

Got my Cs shocks today. I'm going to try to find a spare 90 min or less and get it installed this weekend. Maybe Friday evening if the wife doesn't have any surprise plans.

Too bad everyone wasn't closer to each other, you could do a shock install evening.

H&R used to offer the springs in a dark silver color but switched to the blue at some point. Not sure why I am posting this either, either.

Well, My Corksport Struts/Dampers showed up about 8pm yesterday while I was at work. Back In to work at 05:30 today, so not time to install yet... I hope to have them in this weekend...The race to be the first install is on!

Mine will be installed on Wednesday... SO. HARD. TO. WAIT. But gonna be so awesome!(cabpatch)

I was planning on installing them last night after work, but this is what I came home to. Needless to say, with a foot or so of snow on the road, UPS or whoever is shipping them wasn't able to deliver them.

Its kind of funny when it snow in VA. Everyone panics and wrecks and gets stuck, and the whole time I'm just thinking, "I bet if this were Canada no one would think anything of it."
