adding FS-ZE parts

i have an MP3.
i just need to get some information about the addition of FS-ZE parts to the stock 2.0 motor.

i want the FS-ZE intake manifold, intake and exhaust cams and the higher compression pistons.

will the stock engine be able to handle the increase in power?
and also what else would be needed in order for this to work properly, would i have to get the FS-ZE ecu or would the MP3 be able to handle it?

any input would be greatly appreciated,
thanks

stock engine will hold the power.

it will work with nothing else at all. and you wont get the fsze ECU to work correctly anywho, but you might want to consider one of the stand alone systems that are coming out from perfworks and spoolin, though you will have to tune them for NA as they are being developed to turbo.

(lol) I'm stoked to see you around, TheMan.(lol)

He knows that you know that he knows that we all know that you guys are talking about a FS-ZE

here we go again with THe Man flaming someone just because of a typo. Dude, Like we told you in the past, stick to headlights and part #'s. You are not the allmighty perfect man of mazda so get over it!

the hardest part about installing the fs-ze parts is installing the pistons. the pistons are cheap, like $150 or something like that, but you have to take your engine out, and if you do it at a dealer the install cost is pretty high. if you do it yourself then you are fine.

you might want to try getting some custom pistons with a higher compression ratio and see if you can get any more gains out of it. right now the stock is... 9.1:1 and the fsze is 10.5:1 and the racing proteges use 14:1?

and you want the mazdaspeed exhaust cam (though the cams are now out of production so cost has what, almost doubled...)

He accually wasn't flaming. Have you noticed his posts havn't been to flame over on this board. Relax guys.

12:1 pistons, advanced timing with the piggyback, headers, custom cams...

hmmm sounds good!

Who know if I leave turbos to go N/A on my second engine.

the FE-ZE *is* a real engine....

would you prefer not me saying anything so that the confused can go order the wrong parts from the wrong engine and finding out later it won't fit? I can do that just fine if you want....

 how about saying "If you mean the FS-ZE, yes those parts will fit just fine, and good luck finding the cams as they aren't in production anymore. And you'll need some engine management to get any real benefit out of them. But if you mean the FE-ZE then no"... WOW.
