AC problem?

I live in Arizona, where our current temps are reaching well into high 90's. As one would guess, I needed to use the AC.
My problem is this: when going down the highway, and have the AC/fan knob on 2 or higher, the AC button (light) starts flickering.
Has anyone experienced similar problem?
I thought it would be because I'm pushing the car too hard, but that is not always the case.
Should I take it to the dealer?

I have never seen that and I do like 90 with ac on 4.
Take it to the dealer to check it out.

Absolutely take it to your dealer....you shouldn't have problems like that regardless of temperature outside or speed you are going.
