yeah i have stock struts with tein s-tech springs.....so maybe i'll hear it or maybe not....could have to do with the weight you have in the trunk with ur system....
how much does it weigh....cuzz that could affect the rubbing alot....since more weight in back for you...makes the inside of the fenders sit closer to the tires....
i have one 12" sub...elemental design in a box built for the sub...and it weighs maybe 30-40lbs...if that....so i dont have alot of weight in my hatch like you do....so that could be a factor.

Tried w/o spacers but when I took a corner real hard the inside of the outer rear wheel would scrape against the strut making a shaving sound with the rotation of the wheel...faint..but it was annoying. Sometimes it would make a knocking sound instead.
Installed 3mm spacers and then I would rub on the fenders when going over large dips/humps in the road.
Finally rolled fenders a little with a rubber mallet and heat gun and everything is good now.
So you might be OK if you have something other than stock struts, but otherwise...after a few weeks you may start to hear the noise I'm speaking about. I didn't hear it until at least a month later.
