7%, 20%, and 35% Tint

Hey guys kind of need some fast replies here. Iam getting my pro tinted tomrrow morning and am thinking of getting 7% on my rear window and quarters, 20% next to that on my rear doors and finally 35% on two front doors and eyebrow.

Has anyone seen such a setup like this. would it look out of place because of so many different percentages on the car?

legal limits in texas only allow 35 on the sides and 5% in the rear and thats what I have.

35 all around would be perfect IMO. Just enough to keep the sun out, but not to dark so people (Cops specifically) can still see in. I'll propable be tinting the Miata soon (I have a hardtop)

i got 35% also and i think it is great. i like the uniform look that you have with all the windows the same. With than many different combos it will look cheap like it was pieced together. Just decide on one % and do all the windows that

.. I asked for 20% tint, and got coerced (sort of) into getting 15% on all my windows, including the windshield strip. While I personally love it, it has definitely given me problems with cops.

I'd say go for 30%, maybe 25% if you want to go a bit darker. But stick with uniformity, IMO. All those different percentages will just make the car look 'thrown together'.

I love mine setup, with the real dark rear window it kinda makes everything else look darker and I have gotten nothing but props for it.

alls i can say is that 20% is the perfect ratio. Perfect darkness and ive never been ****** with by cops.

well i got it done. Did Limo rear, 20% quarters and rear doors and 35% front doors, with 20% eyebrow. Came out great. only thing i would change is continue the 20% onto the front doors aswell i find that 35% isnt as dark as i wanted it. Ah well heres a pic for anyone interested in getting theres done with similar percentages.

i have 20% all around with 5% for the winshield strip

definately get 5% for the winshield. i was gonna go 15%, but the guy talked me into 5% and i am glad he did. it really helps when the sun is setting, 15% wouldn't have been dark enough

yeah i too wished i went with 5% all around, 20% isn't that dark especially my sunstrip..

20% is fine , its not to bad when backing up in the dark , u can still see when the back up light are on , go for 20% with 80% limo front strip

I have 5% all the way around except front windows which are 15%
Looks good but its a b**** to back into my driveway at night.
Cops made me peel the 35% off my Ranger but then I got pulled over by a ghost car with tinted windows so I said screw it and got my P5 blacked out

I have 5% on the back windshield and rear windows, and 20% on the front and moonroof. I have had 3 run-ins with the cops in MI (we can't have tint any further than the top 4 inches on the driver and passenger front windows), but I love the look. I wish I would have had the moonroof tinted at 5%, but it still looks badass.
