quit spamming your own thread damnit :) I may actually be inteested in one of these pending a few quid pro quos

For anyone who hasn't seen my old pics, here is a shot of some welds done by the guy who will be welding the manifolds:

And his work on aluminum is even more impressive than that.

Subbed, I really wanna see the gains when/if this was to done for more of a N/A application, some of the aussie boys (LordWorm & AusOrion) and myself would love to see how it performs overall...

BTW, take your time on developing this, as time always yields perfection :).

I made a last minute decision yesterday before dropping the plans off at the machine shop, and scaled down the plenum slightly. It'll get some better gains at lower power/boost now than it would have, and we might even get some NA gains from it. Made more sense to make it a little bit more streetable for everyone. It will still flow like crazy though.

Good amount of undercut there..sorry I'm just being picky to be picky

Undercut? Sorry not familiar with the term, me's not a welder. :)

Good choice! I am hoping that will make it more applicable for us NA people.

(peep)Stay tuned for my dyno comparision between rich's manifold and the stock msp intake manifold. I'm meeting with him tomorrow for some burritos and to discuss a plan to get this intake manifold dyno tuned asap.

This is for 505ZOOM: Your hard work is for all Mazda owners everywhere. I really like the fact that you can come on the forums and find intelligent, hard working, insightful people who have the vehicle owners in mind.

I don't have a turbo car yet, however I have plans for the future. I would really like to see the N/A results.

God Bless, from protege owners everywhere.

Thanks a lot for the kind words, I appreciate it.

Did the second pm help any......lol.......I hope

Yup just replied to it, I see what you are saying now. There is a structural weld underneath the visible one (they are doubled up to fill the gap), and knowing Skip and his work I am sure that the whole thing is solid. Thanks for the clarification though.

Here is a shot of my LSD that he welded for me:

Why'd I just go buy a 626 IM?! I guess I'll just have to wait around a little bit before installing it.

505zoom correct me if I'm wrong but magnump5 i'm pretty sure this IM will be better suited for bigger turbos..
Well I do already have an MPi upgraded MSP turbo but I plan on running a GT28RS or GT2871 in the future when I build my motor. Always have to plan ahead...

Can't wait for pics!

I think it will have more of a benefit based on how much boost you run, moreso then the size of the turbo. So this would be more of a high boost mod. But everyone could see good to dramatic gains.
