505ZOOM We need for pictures and prices, these is a most, and the faster the better !!!
New projected timeline is as follows:
- Prototype complete this coming week or early next.
- Road testing on my car for a week. (if any revisions are needed they will be made at this point)
- Remove the proto from my car and send it to sandspeed in Florida for dyno testing.
- If all is well at that point, Sander keeps the original proto and I start on the first batch of 5.
* I will be hand selecting the people who get the first 5 manifolds. If anyone gives me any grief about this stage of the process, they will be blacklisted from ever getting one. (I'm not screwing around here, if anyone bitches about pricing, or about how long it's taking, or thinks they can make it better/cheaper/etc, instant blacklist). I have seen this crap happen way too often around here, and I will not put up with it like everyone else seems to. I just want to make this very clear, I am not in this to make a killing. I am doing this to get a badass part made for people who DESERVE it. The second I feel that someone is no longer deserving, I am refusing that persons business and they can look elsewhere for a manifold. Not singling anyone out here, this is just a general statement.
- After the first 5 are installed and I have some more feedback, I will do a batch of 10, and future production will be figured out based on how things go. I will also start on other versions at this point, N/A, etc.
Going as fast as I can on it, if I post a price now, and my cost goes up, people will be like wtf. So I am just going to wait until the proto is done and I know exactly what the cost is before I post anything other than "it will be more than a 626 manifold, but not in the 1k range that you see with other aluminum race manifolds". I won't have a quote from my welder until he sees the first piece, and I don't have the final cost of machine work yet.
Also, I don't want to post any free design ideas for anyone considering to compete with it, so you guys will have to wait just a little bit longer for pics.

Wouldn't say YOU need to... although, there are a few people on this forum that have constantly rubbed me the wrong way in the past, and they should maybe consider the ol chapstick before attempting to purchase one.

sure it is. when u make the only part availible for a dead platform you can do that . he just doesnt want to deal with people who are difficult, hes obviously not in it for the money. i cant blame him really. i think its only for people who really pissed him off. if it was me i wouldnt have said anything and just kept saying 'were out of stock' to those few. but i try to deter confrontation lol
if he was pg or speedcircuit id say its dumb but he doesnt have any competition or the need for any.

That second comment was purely a joke, and as I said in the first comment, it is a general statement not directed at anyone. As far as the "not a good way to do business" comment, I honestly do not care at this point. This product will sell itself. I have zero tolerance when it comes to the attitude of "oh I can do this better", or "oh that's too expensive", or "why aren't you done yet" type of stuff. As I have said in the past, anyone who doesn't like it can simply click the back button on their browser and move along.

Others will put up with crap just to "stay in business", and that is not what I am here for. If I was looking to start a business, it certainly wouldn't be one single part for a very limited crowd. I am making this manifold for the people who want something different than what is out there. I am not trying to cater to everyone, and I simply will not sell one to anyone who gives me undeserved grief.
This part is going to rock, there is nothing out there that will even come close to this in performance, quality, and the overall look in the engine bay. If all of that doesn't make up for the fact that I am not going to take any crap, then I am sorry and it is probably not the part for you. (again not directed at any one person)
