You can blame that on the Mazda P.O.S> job they did on the head of the FS engine. Undersized valves, and crappy cams amungst other things. Mazda3
2.3L turbo @ 7psi = 245whp
Looks like thats right about even...give or take a little. Plus Juan still has some fine tuning and turbo selecting to do.

2.4L turbo @ 7psi = 265whp
Mazda3
2.3L turbo @ 7psi = 245whp
but then again the toyota engine has the advantage of .1 more liters and a better flowing head, and I probably have a bigger turbo on the tC.
