Dean. Also that guy who just had his car built by MPNick with a GT2871. He has not dynoed nor turned up the boost very far to my knowledge. 505 hit 265 on stock motor. Blkzoomzoom will not dyno his.

I would like to say that peak HP is not the guage of the fastest car. It's where the torque is applied that counts. Why have 350 Hp in a FWD car and spin through third? That's wasted. The power needs to be gained at the correct moments. You can apply power to the wheels as long as you do not pass the point of us times N, then you are wasting it because your wheels are spinning.

0k...so you guys that have posted on this thread...pdhaudio, neversober, and daedalus....with all the mods you have...what do you dyno at?

Beau was telling me the other day that somebody not on the boards was running like 35psi on their MAM block and put down like 400whp...

I cant confirm it... i'm just retelling the story as it was told to me.

And there are tons of 300whp cars that are on the verge of being done... Brian MP5T, BlkZoomZoom, pdhaudio83, and maayyyybe me (i'm on the stock turbo)... you just have caught us with our engines not quite done yet. Give me another two weeks.

Hum I dont think I have 7-8g to spend on the car. I already spend about 2g mods are in the sign. I am think of getting the DConvert's AFC.
I hope I can get about 210-220 Whp.

I am curious to know what YOU would do to reach 250-300hp. List the name of mods and prices and why you choose this. I am very interested to hear your different types of ways to reach this! Let it begin!

MPI Tuner with two extra injectors. $1,100.00
MPI short block $2,100.00
Front mount intercooler $900.00-$1,300.00.
MPI stage one turbo upgrade $625.00.
Full gasket set $300.00
total around $5,100.00.
only dyno proven set up this forum.

in a few months there will be probably 10+ 300whp proteges on here, I am with Daedalus waiting for my MAM built motor and sleeper kit :) hopefully this new block that I got will pass the magnaflux tests unlike the last one :(

a lot. but you pay to play.

block: around $3000
turbo kit: around $4000
clutch $399 i think?
haltech and injectors: $1699
Exhaust: $399

Lets see, MSP is around $17,000-$17500, then you add $9497 = 26,497.

Blue book value on an MSP is about 12000 - 13000.

Go get you an SRT with a stage 2 kit and youll be there with a warantee and a hella better engine.

Go STI and be there with an awsome ride and AWD with a warantee an a hella better engine.

Get a VW R32 and be there N/A and AWD with a pimp car all arownd.

Get a G35 and pimp it.

My $.02

This is a list of the mods we offer to be 300+ whp:

Turbo upgrade kit (includes everything, manifold, turbo, Haltech E6X, injectors, FMIC intercooler, piping, downpipe and mid pipe, boost controller) $4,600.00

Forged Pauter rods/mazda 8.5 to 1 CR pistons kit (includes Rods, pistons, Head gasket, new piston rings and cam seals) $1,350.00

Total $5,950.00

You would still need an exhaust and a clutch.

Well,

Our car makes 331 WHP at 20 psi of boost with only these mods.

Block is stock, crank has never been taken out, stock head, and we only took one day to replace the pistons and rods.

I will be putting a new head, GT3071R turbo, bigger turbo manifold and new intake to see how much HP we can get out of the engine.

or hell, keep the speed and get a 3rd gen RX7 FC3s. I know a person here who is sellin one for 16gs with upgraded Peter Farell EVERYTHING!!! She is pushin 400+ on that monster.

You know what a plessure you feel when you are driving in your sleeper and all of the sudden a guy with a STI wants to take you and the taken is him?

That feels really good.

One of my customers just raced a STI in moroso last weekend and took him with his HiBoosted P5 at the stock settings and basic kit.(cool)
