24,000km service

i was having problems with shifting smoothly and my p5 bucking on me like a wild horse in first gear.

i never mentioned anything to the mazda service guy although i did show him a printout of the MNAO service bulliten regarding the clutch clatter or chudder. he told me they don't get many of these and would have to diagnose the problem.

i get my car back 2 hours later and shifting is smoother than a hot knife through butter now. car doesn't buck as much either.

all the service guy said was replaced was an air filter and some washer fluid.

anyone know if they tighten or adjust other things?
most of the stuff on the checklist said inspection only.

do i smell a sneaky rat?

i'm in canada by the way.

any comments or stories to tell?

i'd love to hear them

Well, I have a similar like your but it was my ohter car.....it's a 99 Honda Accord, i bought it at Aug. 99 and by that winter after the frist rain, my sunroof was leaking......so I took it back to the dealer then picked it up a day after....they said nothing wrong with it, they didn't find any leak!!!!! Of course I don't have any leak after that.........so I just wonder they just replace the seal or somethings.........but they just hide it on the paper.......

I had the bucking first gear...they replaced my clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate...good as new...

My car tends to buck in first gear, but I just figured it was because I haven't drivin standard in a long time. Is it abnormal for a car to buck alot in first?
