With the last of the 2013 Mazdaspeed3's selling away quickly, and no replacement in sight, I decided that NOW was time to act!
When I first started driving, I started out in Mazda's original hot hatch, the 1980 RWD MAZDA GLC SPORT! Yes it was only ~70hp, but it had the bones of an RX7, and man I was hooked! At the same time I was learning to drive, the new 4wd MAZDA 323GTX's were in the dealer showroom, and I can remember drooling over the digital dash, fuel injection, turbo, and big bolstered seats. It was bad timing, because as a new driver, my insurance rates would have been through the roof. I promised myself..."someday...", and when the Mazdaspeed3 came out in 2007, I wanted one bad, however I had recently purchased the 2006 Mazda5 Van, so it was not to be.
Over the last 25 years I have had the opportunity to enjoy a few of Mazda's greats, such as the 1985 RX-7 GSL-SE, 1987 RX-7 Turbo II, 1988 626 GT Turbo, a couple 92' Miata's, and a 1993 MX-3 V-6. I have a love for the uncommon, the unconventional, and the passionate car producer, which is why I still love my Mazda's, and why tonight there will finally be a 2013 MS3 in my driveway.(naughty)
