Yes, and I'm interested in what the $400 "Aero Package" includes.

According to the bottom of the page it's a color-keyed roof and front spoiler.

I guess the Canadians are getting different packing for the 2008 CX-7's. According to the 2008 Specs (Canadian), they're getting a GS and GT trims only.

Looks like Mazda will continue to offer Sport, Touring and GT trims! Interesting...

Close out 07?

I am looking into getting a CX7 and wondering when the 08's will be hitting the dealers. I probably will just get the 07 but it is always nice to be buying when they want to clear those lots!

My wife and I test drove it the other day it is pretty amazing, after reading the posts on the forums here it looks like most of the people are very happy with their choice.

Thanks!

I highly recommend the car...you will be happy with your decision...great handling car for the money...not to mention really cool and fun to add on different items! Go for it looking @ CX7!

If you're buying (not leasing), then wait for an '08 (probably august/september). If you buy an '07 it's already a year old the second you drive it away.

If you're leasing then snap up an '07 and take advantage of the deals

Thanks--I didn't see that. Since we already have a "roof spoiler" that was standard on the '07 and there's no easy way to delete it, since the third brake light is in it, they're basically charging $400 to install the splitter at the factory. No telling what the dealer will want for one uninstalled.

I believe that there will be two types of rear spoilers, standard as well as an optional larger "longer" one. I thought i saw pictures of this optional spoiler on the Japan mazda site.(yes)

You got that ass backwards. Lease rates on a car that is an older model (07) will be much high then on the current model (08). Think it through and it will make since to you also. This is why miles are important when booking out a vehicle. The good deals are currently on the 2007 purches, I would expect no deals on the 2008 models untill all the 2007 are gone. If you want to lease, wait. If you want to buy, now is the time.

I disagree. Lease rates typically increase with the introduction of a new model year. They fall off towards the end of the model year.

Not always the case obviously, but seems to play out that way for the most part.

Of course, I'm in Canada, so it could be totally different here than in the US.
