2007 Texas NBA Thread

Don't know 'bout ya'll,but I'm soooo tired of hearing about Labron James. All they talked about since the beginning of the series was James. And to top that off he is on the flippin' commercials too. How about the defence of Bowen, which should have gotten the defencive player of the year,on James. Or how deep our bench is when others aren't playing well which was proved in game 3. The Spurs are about to join 3 other teams to win 4 or more championchips. The Celtics,Bulls and Lakers. And still no respect from anyone.

Ha, just found this thread. Pretty funny to read over some of the early comments... this is the best Spurs team anyone has seen yet. Last night we played terribly and still beat the best the East has to offer... Kind of sad though.. after tomorrow what am I going to do until football season? Watch baseball? ha.

Ouch....i forgot i said that, lol :)

....but u have to admit, the Spurs didnt play all that great during the redgular season. I never expected them to play this well. Once they got to the Finals i knew it was over and they were taking the Championship. Any of the top 8 seeded teams in the West could sweep the Cavs.....and im not taking credit away from the Spurs. Looks like they've done it this year (thumb) Congrats.

Oh definitely... their regular season play isn't ever stellar. I watch them through the regular season, but I don't live and die w/ the team until the 2nd half of the season. I think that's part of the reason they don't get more attention.. they never decide to turn it up until a few weeks before playoffs. They always know exactly when to turn it on.. and it seems to work out pretty damn well for them.

Cavs... it's over tonight friends. And the more amusing part is.. even if they do manage to take a game tonight, there's no way in hell there winning 3 more, 2 in SA. Suckas.

Spurs Baby!!!

Not bad for the 'oldest team in the league'.

Media makes 'em sound like they're on walkers....

I like how they have the international talent, though i suppose that's not all that unique these days.

SWEEP!

Go Spurs Go!

That's the Spurs. Beginning of the season they're ok. Usually in Febuary they start to gell a little. After the allstar break they pick it up a notch and then by the playoffs they are usually hitting on all cylinders. They seem to pace themselves. It's the same every year. I so flippin' happy for Tony getting the MVP and for Finley getting his ring. We let him down last year 'cause that was the reason he came over.

I LOVE MY SPURS!!(first) (band2)
