well my experience with it and from what ive read on here. its good to just stick to stock boost if your stock. basically our cars come very restricted. intake, exhaust being #1 on the list, next would be the intercooler. Its small, very restrictive and heat soaks faster than you can say it. that in itself cant barely handle the flow of 10psi. im running open s-pipe and have a cone filter on the stock intake until next weekend, but ive been running 8psi for about 8months now and have had no problems at all. Most people say doing the front mount and hardpipes which im doing next weekend along with a custom intake and running the maf on the pressure side of the intake the boost will automatically increase about 1psi or more just because your taking out alot of restriction caused by the stock intercooler and ballooning stock plastic pipes. So basically i will be running 9-10psi being on cooler nights which is hard to come by right now where i live it runs about 8.5psi. But yeah i will be keeping it there until an ems system is installed. Thats about the safe limits with those supporting mods. I dont think there will be any problems with running 10psi with those mods. now i did try and run 8psi with the stock exhaust bolted up and for one it didnt make much of a difference over stock. matter a fact it wanted to hesitate more. so i just opened the exhaust up, took it off completely. loud yes but sounds great. thats just my experience on the subject
