I work on VW's. I have a hatred as only a tech. can.
It's gonna be intresting to see how I do this year, it's gonna act like a whole new animal.... no more 13's for me.

nice....i figured you worked on them along with the mazda's. what is a good interval for the oil changes. i did the first at 1500 and the car has 2600 now......the g/f does not drive much.

i was going to ask that.....should i switch next time, do a half and half, or wait a little longer......?

i have been using synthetic in the P5 since 10k.....

figured, thanks....so keep on the 5K synthetic oil changes. which is better Mobile 1 or amsoil? i have used both and have noticed no difference......

The VW's have plenty of gremlins, but most of them aren't in the engine. The trannys can be a little problematic, but they aren't awful either.
