So I wired everything in last night took it for a drive and was perfect. Got in it this morning wouldn't start. Not even turn over.
Heard the ssafc make a click sound when trying to start it but Thats about it. I have a question on step 12 there is a sliver of stripped wire in the same insulator of the pink and blue wire. Do I connect that to the psc pink wire also or just the pink and blue wire?

Rewired back to stock and its still not starting. where does this wire go? its in a white insulator along with the pink and blue wire. Im at a loss on why my car is not starting now. all fuses are fine, battery checks out good. Also what i thought was making a click sound was not the ssafc, its actually somewhere under the passenger side dashboard near the glove box. Any response would be greatly appreciated since I am at a total loss.

Ok guys I found out the issue. It was unrelated to the ssafc. It was another wire on the driver side that became unspliced. I'll be questioning about this later. However I am still wondering about the little silver wire. I installed the ssafc about 3 times now and left the silver wire detached from any other wires. My car is still hesitating a little. Do I need to hook that wire up to the ssafc pink wire or pink/blue wire along with the pink/blue wire from the wiring harness?

Searched up a little about it since it is night and noticed that it is a shield wire to reduce noise. Question is, do I hook this up to anything? Because I think I may have hooked it up to the black and red wire to the ECU *ground i believe* as it was attached there before with whoever wired in the boost guage. (this car is a wiring nightmare) Should i take off this shielded wire from the ground and just leave it by itself or what?

looking at these instructions, the pink wire goes towards the o2 sensor itself, with the pink/blue going to the ecu from where you put the pink wire in place of the o2 wire. you are essentially breaking the connection that wire has with the ecu, and running it through the ssafc to "condition" the signal to get the result you want. it is necessary to have both hooked up properly to get the tune to work, and not throw a MIL from having a broken circuit in the o2 line.
