*~km/h Gauge Cluster~*

:
Laser Blue MSP #2733_sold
I have the US style gauge cluster ( 0-140 mph ) I'm looking for anyone with a 2003.5 MSP that would like to trade or if you have a km/h cluster ( 0 - 220 km/h ) to sell/trade me. If not, I can just swap the overlay out with you, if that can come out by it-self. Or if you know how I can get a hold of one, please let me know. Thanks bunches...

P.s.
Would anyone from canada please call there dealership and find a price for me? Just for the Speedometer in km/h... I'll pay you for it and shipping + extra in return... or if you have to get the whole cluster... Let me know, thanks.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Pic #1: what I have... (not my car, pic from a base protege)
Pic #2: what I would like...(not my car)

I need one from a Mazdaspeed Protege cause the regular proteges have white gauges.

If you bought a new cluster, wouldn't you have to have someone set the odometer?
i believe you just go to your local department of transportation (or maybe dealership) and claim it.

^ would they make you give up your old cluster then? Who's to say that you dont later put back the old cluster that has XX,XXX less miles on it?

whos to say i dont just buy a new cluster and sell my car with 12miles on it? nothing is preventing it, except for federal "odometer fraud" laws. there are ways to track and "guess" milage according to previous records and such.. it's not worth it to most but it's done.

true.. I guess it doesn't really matter until we start talking about more expensive cars...

true. my second car was a used 90 accord with 220k miles on it. that would have been a prime canidate for "odometer daylight savings", but it didn't happen. I do believe those laws are pretty strict, though, so I don't think many want to play that game; or at least those that deal with such a general public.

I just would like to swap overlays, not the whole thing, just the middle (speedometer)

and yeah... $40 shipping and 1 sale... wouldn't do that ebay one, but thanks...

actually you can get the overlays from www.speedhut.com . They come in different color faces, lights, and styles.
