setting the flexible oil change interval

I asked this question in a couple of other threads, no reply. So I thought it best to start a new thread.

I'm trying to switch my OCI monitor from fixed to flexible but the flexible option is grayed out and it is non selectable.

Anyone?

You have to turn the power on with all the indicators, but before engine getting started. Then get into Maintenance Monitor from infotainment system and Oil Change tab. Now you should be able to change it to Flexible.

I'll give that a try. I was attempting to change it while in the acc position.

Glad it worked. I made the same mistake the first time I was trying to set it to Flexible too. You can't set it while the engine is running either. Not sure if owner's manual said it or not.

It makes sense that the system can't be changed from the ACC position but it doesn't say that in the manual. Oh well, it's done now. Next!
