What have you done to your MSP today?

^honestly as long as you have someone that knows the basics of tuning it helps a lot. Marko is helping me but we got stuck on other issues.

nothign today unless you want to count dricing it into work.. but yesterday i washed and waxed it.

I have a local guy that does custom tunes for speed3s and 6s. He said hed help me.
go ahead and good a good tune so i can steal it for a base tune for my car when i ever get to that point! lol

Yeah thats the thing, I really want to go standalone but I dont know anyone to help me tune it around here.

With closed loop corrections during datalogging its cake... tells you exactly what % lean or rich and simply adjust the bar ranges. I think they even have an autotune feature now that basically does this for you. Tuning boost is the easy part after all your corrections are straight just start low taking baby steps. When larger injectors come into play idle and low rpm cruising can be tricky finding what is too low of an injection time causing you to lean out so a few areas will need to be more rich than desired to keep the injectors flowing.

^yeah the Haltech program is nice how it can be adjusted. Has a little blue ring where everything is currently at and adjust those numbers. And the data logging program is nice as well.

So, I'm 1/16 above 1/2 a tank and have driven about 160miles. Of course I got 90 miles until I hit 3/4. I filled up Friday (or maybe Saturday) and got 13.88 gallons. IF I keep on this pace, I'll get more miles per tank than ever before. Though this morning before I was up to operating temperature, I was running rich as hell and after going into boost, the car wanted to stall.

Any tricks to removing the stock head unit? Just cant seem to get the thing out, the left side doesnt seem to want to budge.

The ONE time I tried to take mine out, I just gave up. I'll pull apart an engine or transmission, but interiors are not my thing... So, no help from me... Sorry. I had to repair the connector at the blower switch Saturday and I was so afraid plastic was going to start snapping, but it went well enough.

I got it out. Replaced with another Kenwood HU, but the new one wont click into the metal harness no matter how much I push it in there. Always something with this car. lol

Daaaamn.... This subforum is moving SLOOOOOWWW today. I've had to venture out into uncharted territories. I don't recognize names and they're speaking about things of which I am not aware of.
