What have you done to your MSP today?

That's effed up.
O'Reillys ordered me one and I told Advance I wasn't going to buy another thing from them if they didn't "make this right" so the parts pro told the manager and he's going to return mine, give me cash, and I'll buy the one from O'Reillys.
 
Anyone know if the 626 intake manifold with VICS is better than the stock manfold?

It flows better at high rpm but you lose a lot of low-end. For daily driving I say its not worth it. Ill have one for sale once I get the 505 though :p

Marko and I installed it and tried to tune it. But were having issues with the Idle.
after over a hour of playing with it I looked at the boost gauge and it was reading 0, but the Haltech was reading -20 which is where it should be. So Later on I was checking the fitting of the boost gauge. Which is on the Fuel Pressure Regulator. So the FPR was not getting Vacuum, so anyone know why? could the Haltech be wired up wrong?
 
I have the butterfly-less 626 manifold on my car and i beg to differ. Its DD approved in my book. Just didn't know about the 626 manifold with vics. I thought i had a mp3 manifold on my hands for a sec.

I've been running the 626 mani as DD for a few years now but its still one of those mods that I have mixed feelings about. Not for long though..
I also have one without vics so I wouldnt know how that would feel.
 
Dude the oil filter is so easy to reach now. It was a real pain for me to get my arm in the right position to remove the filter under the car. I ain't going back.

I cant wait to get the 505zoom manifold in there.. its gonna be even easier to reach the filter!
 
There's a new spicy in town... He told me he was running 20psi... Then 10 minutes later said it was 8psi, just adjustable to 20... :|
 
Everyone can "adjust" their boost to well over 20psi by removing the vac line to the wga... reaching it successfully...not so easy LOL!

filled it up. 33.681 mpgs.

Hey, me too.... Filled mine up... 19.3mpg... I did also drive about 150 miles of that with plugs gapped at .040... But even now that I finally have the plugs gapped correctly AND I'm going to drive like a grandma for the next two days, I bet I won't get more than 23mpg
 
I'm happy to get 25mpg.. usually its around 23. I'm boosting 18psi and ithe car sees it everyday. I just can't help it :(
 
how much did that run you outlaw? Once the car is paid for, that one of the first big dollar items I'm ordering.
1500$ about, Only wires you have to install are the 3 power, 2 ground, and 02 Wideband input. Rest are wired in.

For driving like a "pissed off teenager" constantly with boost that is good. You run 5-6 more psi than me daily and also have more miles on your engine I think.

Gap mine at 0.030. Also keep my tires above specs in the 36 - 40 psi range. My stage one boost is as it came from the factory at 6.9. Only using the flashed pcm.

damn that seems a bit off, i always get 30mpg mixed highway and city, even when im boostin 14-15psi on a disco potato =]
