Too rich for my blood!
In other new the wife is taking deliever of her CX-9 in about an hour!! Pics to come tomorrow night!!

I know Bob Craft has money, but last I checked there were only parking lots surrounding Gillette. $159 for 3 laps around an autocross course that probably has a lap time of under 1 minute, 2 minutes tops. Sure it would be fun to drive a Ferrari, but not for $25/minute, and certainly not on a tight twisty autocross course. Oh and at 6'3" I'd have to slouch to get on the big-boy ride with my shoes on.

Just got some snail mail from Mazda.
They rejected my request for coverage due to the VVT/Timing belt failure. They cited my repair being at 85k while the warranty extension only went to 70k. Duh! Maybe they should have read my letter where I described myself as being a loyal Mazda customer who is active in the online community. They could have at least paid for the parts. I may call and complain again but I'm not sure i will get very far. So much for keeping track of all my maintenance records. A lot of good it did me.

Hello and good evening. What a Monday....left work early to meet Tamz at the shelter where we adopted a 5 month old kitten. 
After dinner, took our daughter to the ER, her boyfriend accidentally flipped her over while doing the airplane and she landed weird on her foot/ankle/leg and can't put wait on it. She has to use crutches for the next two days and hopefully it will be better or it's off to the ortho we go. Watched UK beat Kansas and since they didn't score a combined 138 I finished second in a pool with my bro and sis-in-law so we'll be splitting $240.
Congrats on the new car Tony and be sure to pass it along to your wife! Now that she has her new toy you can start modding yours.
And congrats on your new position!
Sorry to hear Mazda isn't working with you Chris. Like the others said though, another phone call can't hurt! Love that retro stereo you found for the truck, that would look great in the dash and much better than hacking up an older model you may find.
And I know I'm late but the car is looking good Kyle! Finally had a chance to see some pics of it since you lowered it and got those MP3 wheels on! If you aren't in a hurry for the tires, I'd wait it out for the 215's. Can you get a full set of four sooner from a different warehouse...although the extra shipping will negate your savings?

they said they can get me one more from DE. im gonna call back this morning and if they have the three in CT still and the shipping for the one from DE is under $28, ill go for it!

morning all....hope to get the two front porch decks waterproofed today, start staining the house tomorrow...all the prep work is done...renailed, replaced clap boards, scraped and sanded, powerwashed, picked up paint and stain...home stretch baby! oh and if i didn't mention it, the new certainteed roof has "oil" staining...the oil has come up thru the shingle and has created several large and small dark patches...rep came out and ordered 8 more bundles of shingles and is paying us 150$ per bundle to have them replaced...car is running awesome, gotta change the diff fluid this week, can't wait! also need to replace the brake fluid one of these days too

tires wont be in stock at tire rack until April 27th. oh well, this means I can buy them at that point and get in on tire racks deal of a new Nook touch with the purchase of conti tires. hehe
Guess things worked out pretty good after all. You still get the $80 Visa card, correct?
Thanks guys! Texted her earlier, since she stayed home from school today and she is feeling better and able to put more weight on it. I told her to take it easy though and use the crutches for getting around the house.
Damn Mark, you have been busy with the house mods!!! Seems like things are coming along nicely and sux about the shingles but at least they are making good on it!

morning, happy hump day back at you old man!
got the porches waterproofed and had a tree that fell in the storm last summer, got out the chain saw and made it "go away" firewood for my son's stove! had to work today, but off the rest of the week...time to paint/stain!
