My parents surprised me today with an appointment at the Brew Kettle in Strongsville to brew a batch of my own beer. I'm pumped, but deciding which beer to make is tough!

Haha, I should've made it more clear. I guess I didn't understand how the process worked until afterwards...

I brewed today, and bottle it on Sunday November 27. I made the Cocoa Porter--ingredients included chocolate malt, caramelized malt, 1 pound of cocoa, barley, and two different types of hops. Oh, and light malt extract. Process took 2.5 hours, but it is really cool because you do everything yourself. There are a few workers there in case of an emergency and to help you along. In the end, I should receive about 72- 22 ounce bottles! It was a really neat experience!
