The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

You're welcome. It's cool getting to know all these restaurant and bar owners in the area. Plus they give you free food and gift cards and stuff!

Anyways........................I'm surprised I didn't get this response:

Cool story bro.

Had to deliver 8 cases of potatoes to a place called 'Fragapane Bakeries' today on Lorain Road in North Olmsted. It is a small, family-owned and operated bakery (which has excellent pastries and sub sandwiches, by the way). The one gentleman who helped me unload the potatoes looked at my car and asked, "do you race any?" I said, "I spend a lot of time at MidOhio, a road course....(I began explaining road courses because most people ask if that is where I just turn left in a circle...)" He replies, "I know exactly what you mean. My cousin is Michael Galati, driver of the Kinectic Motorsports Kia Forte in the CT Challenge series!"

Small world! Just up the street is a business called 'Galati Foreign Import Services'. Guess what? Owned and operated by said Michael Galati!

That's pretty awesome.

so who's wearing their green Freedom Motorsports tees today???

Happy Veterans Day! Thank you all that have served and are serving this country today!

no allowed to wear t-shirts at work, but I will tonight. Thanks for the great idea

My parents surprised me today with an appointment at the Brew Kettle in Strongsville to brew a batch of my own beer. I'm pumped, but deciding which beer to make is tough!

I've got it narrowed to the Winter Warmer, Cocoa Porter, and Brown Ale...I think...

Edit: Happy Veteran's Day. I will be wearing a Freedom Auto Tee today!

My dad is good friends with the owners of the Brew Kettle. It's an awesome place you will not be disappointed! Give me a call if you need help bottling it ;)

I've had the Cocoa Porter and the Brown Ale and both are fantastic. Winter Warmer sounds great, ginger, cinnamon, honey, orange peel...awesome :)

I'm sort of thinking about the cocoa porter. I like chocolately tasting beer and don't really care for christmas ales all that much... I dunno

My only problem with the Cocoa Porter is that it's a really heavy beer. Delicious, but it takes some effort to drink more than 1 of them in my opinion.

Edit: On a completely side note, thanks for answering my motor mount questions. I ended up getting the CP-E 75 duro mount and absolutely love it. I can't believe I waited this long to get one, especially now that I know how incredible easy installation is.

Yeah. I just want it to be something that is "wintery" and has some sort of a flavor to it. Not just a plain beer. Chocolate is good, and my favorite beer right now is Thirsty Dog's Twisted Kilt, which is more caramel like the Brown Ale. Decisions, decisions...but at least I will have plenty of it to share!

I'm not sure what they have on tap in their restaurant but you might be able to try those before you make. That would definitely go along way in making your decision for you! :)

Side note: It's snowing outside!

HAHAHA to lake effect snow!!! i'm glad i live an hour south of the lake! :p

oh, and it's supposed to be 60* and sunny tomorrow, so i'm not worried!
