AP Guide

So I'm interested in getting the Cobb AP. However, before I get it and start fiddling around with my car, I was wondering if there was a guide on using the Cobb AP and tuning it (or does that come with the AP)? Basically, I'm looking for a guide that tells me what to look for when it comes to tuning (such as AFR, boost, etc). Any info would be greatly appreciated!

(on a side note, I'm running a cpe catted downpipe, turbosmart bpv, and a fujita cai...should I start with a stage 1 or a stage 2 map?)

Also, the fujita CAI doesn't have an air straightener...i'm guessing that's going to be a problem?

It might be something you can tune out of the fuel trims are off. But I would get a Dashhawk because from what I have seen the AP doesn't log quite as well as the the Dashhawk.

The DH has built in Graphing so easier to graph your runs. The DH can also show more than one active PID at a time unlike the AP. I like the DH as I can watch my AFR's, LTFT, BAT and FP all at the same time.

How many things can the DH log at once??

I'm just curious, as I've always found the logging capabilities of the AP to be more than adequate... (dunno)

You don't need the graphs to do logs with the AP. The numbers are all there and that's all that matters. Who cares if the package is pretty?
The AP is for tuning and logging and it does an excellent job of both. Use PowerPoint if you like pretty graphs.

Thanks for the links Nliiitend1. I just went straight to the cobbtuning website and didn't find the guide on the "maps" tab of the cobb ap. the online tuning guide helps a lot.

blah, seems like i should change out my cai to either a cobb sri or cpe cai (due to a lack of an air straightener on the fujita)
