GI: SpeedCircuit Protege Turbo Kit

Cool that explains it... It just looks sad to have that sex setup and not be functional.

Well, it's not going to be functional until we build the turbo kit...and we couldn't build the kit until the center piece (the mani) arrived.

so when can i buy that manifold for a t3.

Any time you like. I'm going to let Dino handle sales for these initially as he helped with development by working out placement for the turbo and by giving me a prod once in a while to keep me going on this (it was a PITA!). Production versions will be very similar to this with just a couple of small changes to make them lighter.

Nice pics Dino! Looks like the V-band EWG will work in that location and make plumbing to the DP easy. Does it clear the fan on the other side of the rad or do you need a slimline for space?

I'm interested in seeing a side by side of the new and previous SteedSpeed manis from the runner side. Or even the disassembled interiors next to one another.

There is a pic with them next to each other.

Passages on this are slightly better because I wasn't restricted to the stock turbo location.

If possible, or even better, the interiors of the runners (a la cross-section).
No biggie, just curious.

Yeah, it will work out perfectly. Good guess!

I plan on dumping the WG right down into the downpipe. Clean, simple, and effective. Do you have the location of the WG jigged up for this mani, or will you need me to send this mani back to you for jigging once the kit is complete?

I'm going to recommend a slimline. On this particular car, we have a slimline on the FRONT of the rad, but i'll have to see what we can get away with.

I don't have it jigged yet but I can sort that out when I do a production run. Just do a custom pipe for this first one to sort out the layout. Do you think it will need a flex/sliding section between the wastegate and downpipe?

Here is how they look on my computer screen. The two pairs of passages on the left and right are divided to the turbo flange.

I'd much rather do the work once, send you back the mani so you can jig it, and start producing the downpipes etc in the meantime.

I'll probably do a hard pipe.
