***All Mazda Meet at Orange County Choppers May 2-3 2009***

Hi guys I'm from montreal canada and I will be participating in this mazda meet with one of my friend ... I just wanted to know if there is a place close where we can camp ... exemple a camping site ...

Well if your coilovers are in, but you don;t have time to install them. I have one of the mechanics on standby to do installs for cheap.
 
I got some bad news guys.
Since this meet has gotten so big we are forced to cancel the cruises on both days for 2 reasons.
1. too much liability on OCC.
2. Local PD asked me not to do it.
So rather than stir up any bad blood between OCC and namely myself and the Local PD we are forced to cancel the cruises.
This is not stopping anyone from going on their own. If you still want to go I can tell you some good raods to go on, but this is strictly at your own risk.

oh well that sucks..but on a positive note your right on the nys thruway and local pd has no jurisdiction on it lol ...but i will prob just stay put anyways lol
 
Hey Grumpyjap...how's The Parking Situtation Gonna Go? Are We Going To Be In Groups With People Of The Same Cars? Or Is It Gonna Be Just Park Anywhere We Can?? Lol Will It Be Organized Chaos Or Just Chaos Lmao!
 
it's impossible to figure out groups before hand so it's just going to be a bunch of mazdas parked next to eachother. when most of the people get there and we want to rearrange we can do that.
 
looks like a good ride...just not sure if im planning on doing it tho...there is going to be so much going on..so much to see.
 
Just found out about this meet. Super excited about going, just registered online, just had a few questions about it since I've never been to one of these before. Do we have to pay for admission? and I really don't want to have my car entered in any kind of contests just because I've barely done anything to it. Is it ok just to look at other cars? I feel like an idiot for posting this comment, but I don't want to feel like the newb tuner at this thing.

admission is free and its a meet not a car show so you wont be entered in anything unless you want to enter the raffle....

so come on down and have fun with the rest of us....
