I recently sold my MSP. Had it listed on autotrader & bargain news. Paid $95 combined for 0 calls.

A friend then told me how he sold his POS Accord (thing had like 300k miles on it) for far more than I ever thought anyone would pay... on craigslist. I created an ad (for free) and the next day I had at least a dozen calls. Within a week the car was sold. I feel I was pretty aggressive with my price (car had 115k miles but a few more mods than the OP's car) so that didn't hurt. In the end, I sold it for $6500 Considering you have less mileage and a far more marketable color (mine was orange) I think your $8500 asking price is fair. If you haven't already done so... put it up on craigslist. I think you'll be amazed at how much interest it generates.

I posted an ad to fish for a possible buyer on craigslist, just to see if I'd get an offer that would be worth parting with the car for. I got 2 bites, nobody serious... Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Yep, it all depends on what the car's state is, your area, and the demand for that style of car in or around your area.

What brand is the SRI? Why the new 626 manifold? Why was I not born all-knowing so I wouldn't need to ask these questions?(dunno)

Car is still for sale. I have had some tire kickers but no serious offers. I do have as little room for negotiation so give me a call or E-mail. Thanks.
