Well i been hearing this horrible noise coming from the engine when i start it up so i changed both my power steering and altenator belts thinking it was that but now the noise still there and louder than ever do anyone have idea of what it might be ?
 
aight i'll try get some video is just is random noise sometimes it does it and sometimes it dont but it sounds like metal rubbing against each other and the harder i hit the gas the louder it gets than its gone.. but i will try get some video

I have the same problem I think, but mine is just the belt squeel it only does it when its cold and when I havent started it in atleast 8 hours or so...
 
Try this: When your car is making this horrific noise open the hood. Spray some WD40 on the belts, if the noise goes away then you just narrowed down your problem quite a bit. If you had a Piston slapping in the bore then it would do it all the time. So no need to worry about all that.
 
tighten the s*** out of your belts and spray on some belt dressing from your local parts store. They are probably just loose

tried it the belts are as tight as I want them to be without causeing problems...it only does it when its cold for a few rotations, its just the belt shrinking when its cold...
 
You are more than likely right, just ride it out, they will more than likely stop. If they don't just go and get some higher quality belts.
 
Im pretty sure it the advanced auto special lol, so I aint worried about it...
