Mazdaspeed Project!!

have fun replacing those every couple thousand miles...

remember the street is no where for 400whp to come loose when u try to have some fun with a honda....not worth it.

when i was younger yeah a fun race was from a dig to like 60 mph and it was done, it want until i had my first high powered car that i realize now a good race started at 60 mph and went well until someone ran out of juice

so just becareful

See if you can shove some 275/35-18 under there.....lol

That brings up the next question whats the widest wheel anyone has put on a MS3?

if i could slam a 245 on that would be glorious, but it wouldnt be on the stock wheel, what if i got a 15 inch centerline drag wheel ahahah... but thats the only racing i like is highway rolls. tahts all the matters, digs are aright but obv i wouldnt take that cause ill spin through 3rd.

unless i throw 275s on there and have the wheel sticking out the side of the car.. cough gay cough.

PFFT.....not when you don't have traction problems.....lol

16's are the smallest you could fit over the stock breaks.

i can try to find some 18x10 or 18 x 12s, haha or jsut a 235 hoosier racing slick on my stock wheels, it has to give me some traction

Wider than you need on the MS3.

There is a Wide body kit for the 3 but its ugly as sin

Sorry that was suppost to be a reply for post #86

ohh yeah, idk. im sure i could get a 18x8 thatll fit and throw 235s on it. hm. i problably shouldnt worry about that until the first part of the project is underway, huh. haha

In all honesty if your going as big as your say you are. Your gonna want to shove the widest tire you can into the wheel well.

u want drag radials? thats weak lol

1. Smaller breaks
2. 14' wheels
3. Hoosiers with big sidewalls :D

Bad idea. this isnt for a drag setup.

1. Bad idea If anything he is gonna want bigger brakes
2. bigger sidewall means less stability at high speed.

ill talk to the shop and see what they say the biggest wheel size is that i could throw on there without work, if it sticks out, hey it shows i got something under the hood right? haha.. im gonna stick with 18s tho.

then i can throw a fat 245+ street drag radial on there, or just a sticky extreme performance, as long as theyre wide as all hell

or what i should do is find this guy whos also running 400+ at the wheels and just see his traction issue and what hes done, if anyone knows his name or accfount Id, that would be greatly appreciated haha

These are 235/40's. 245/40's should be a problem.

should/shouldnt? and how wide are those wheels, stock ms3 i believe are 7.5... i might need new wheels up front... 8's probably for 235 / 245

Well traction bars will be in order most definitely. Aslo you may want to browse through some SRT4 forums for some traction help and see if you can adapt it to the MS3
