Need help fast!

FINALLY!

After trying to tap in as many fuses as we (me and dad) could, the fuse part did not work for s***. After testing the positive wiring and the ground wiring with the battery, we found that the gauges DO work fine and DOES light up great (except for A/F's which its white lighting doesn't work).

So then we tested the ground to the cigarette lighter's ground and that works then I hooked all the grounds to that. Ground is done with.

I then tried each gauge's positive and white wires to the positive side of the lighter wire and all were found to work too! So did the same thing....hooked both ignition and white lighting to the lighter's positive.

Only problems is the night illumination, which I'm thinking of tapping into the wire where the light shows up around the lighter. I believe some said it was orange with black stripe along the side?

Another problem is that the boost is all of a sudden not working. I will check that out soon tomorrow.

Also, when the boost was working, it was showing between 10 and 20 below 0. Is this normal? If not, how do I fix it?

One more thing. The needles do the dance by swinging around, but they don't do the opening and closing ceremony. How does that work?

EDIT: never mind, just found out that the ceremony is coming from Premium gauges. I might get those later on for the peak hold.

It's normal for you to be around -20 unless you are driving it and generating boost. If you blip the throttle at idle, the needle should move a bit....

Finally everything works and it's all good now, thank god. Just gotta replace the A/F unit with a new one since the white lighting isn't working.

Great news - I'm glad it worked! Any insights I had came from the dudes who helped me out when I was installing mine. Great forum.
