How Fast in yours ?

i topped my MSP out at 140 well more like 139 but either way still close the other night on the way home from work. I read somewhere that they topped out at 130...apparently someone didn't drive it long enough lol

ok DUDE. I did mine on an empty highway and a friend took the picture. i'm not a complete ******* moron. it's not that hard to hit double digit speeds and slow back down anyways....at least not on oklahoma roads...no need to be a douche bag man...really. (no)

i honestly cant stand people who do that around here....try do hit 50 down a neighborhood street...like they really need to save that extra 10 seconds by risking everyone's lives... or the assholes that feel doing 96 in heavy traffic and swerving through lanes is really going to save more than 20 seconds max... I tell people to try that all the time..to drive like an ass and let me drive normally , likie not above the speed limit...the person driving like crazy will really only save like mayybbeee a minute...if not less...it's just not worth it...(braindead

thats funny... i love when ppl are weaving in and out of traffic like that... not because i think its fun, just because I love when the light ahead turns red and i pull up next to them and laugh cuz they were doin 20 over and arent any farther ahead of me doing the speed limit!

What I described is called a scenario. An outline or model of an expected or supposed sequence of events. If that constitutes being a "douche bag", I tend to believe you are sadly mistaken over your unheeding need to speed.

that was just after putting the turbo on a few years back. as it is right now, i don't have a speedo, so i have to remember key rpm points in different gears and what speed they relate to....makes it interesting to say the least.

According to the STI guy i raced the night before catching a plane here to spain, we raced from 2nd gear roll an up on a long race we hitted according to his speedo 165 mph, when i noticed my speedo Needle was right on the center bottom of the cluster where the odo is. the RPM's where around 7650 rpms and the car felt insanely stable, I could hear the engine screaming and begging me to slow down. . even though the STI's have 6th speed, i really don't know if that 6th gear is usefull. cause he couldnt catch me at any point of the race. plus 6th gear is really to lower your rpms on a long drive, your real top end is at 5th gear.. anyways like somebody mentioned before, the bigger the rims the slower in acceleration your car is but a higher top speed is achieved. im running as you guys know 18" Wheels... I wish i had a camera that night not only to take a picture of the Speedo, but to record how that modded STI got beaten by an MSP.... Priceless believe me!!!!!

You really need to read better. He was giving you props for beating the STi. The point of this thread is top speed, not acceleration. The thread is titled "How Fast is yours?"
