Ok...With what your saying about street racing...This thread is a DIRECT example of how crappy our rules are....Were allowed to show pics of tops speeds that were obviously shot on a public road..which is illegal...but we can't make a mention of streetracing?
Now tell me how that makes one lick of sense?

well, i think the rule is about street racing....not illegal activities, no? otherwise you couldn't post about race pipes and aftermarket turbo kits and such....right?

so take it as you will, but showing a pic of your top speed, does not mean you were racing does it?

My particular make and model year and all has been proven countless times good for 148mp/h my particular actual car, I don't know how fast the original owner took it, but as the 2nd owner, an donly 18, I'm scared to go above the 115 I took it to (in the mountains!)

You're misunderstanding me. He did mention acceleration, yet he also told us of his top speed, which is what we're discussing. He was just mentioning what matters, and that's how fast you get there. His whole post wasn't just based on acceleration...
