do u guys think its possible to make this trans work with the fs motor? is that what u are doing focus. if so ill most definately be goin this rought wen the forged motor goes in. plus im sure it can be dont cheaper then the 5 g's it takes to build a par tranny.

Right now, I want to test out the G series. My trans is fully built, i.e. complete PAR gear set with both shafts on needle bearings, quaife diff, double synchros, etc... So by the end of this week, early next week the car should be tuned with the AEM, sometime in the next two weeks I will be installing the rear assembly with diff, and I am not sure on the timeline for the AWD G series box. I have 3 to play with though.

well i tightened the axle nuts last night and finished making some "ruff draft" engine mounts. does not look like axle length is going to be an issue. Confirming some wiring colors and starting engine soon. the stock MSP throttle cable fit perfectly into the suzuki cable mount and the pedal feel is seems pretty good. I little loose but I will see what I can do to improve it a bit. we will see soon i guess. syncing the ITBs will also be fun. got an expensive fluid filled vac gauge from my grand father that he used to use to calibrate massive machines at a paper factory. apparently it is very accurate even at low vac and costs an arm and a leg. It is almost the size of my head lol wonder how the readings will compare to the big 4 bar sensor in the MS

and as for the mr2's poppiung weelies thats not as impressive as it appears. it just shows his lack of suspension tuning and they are rear engine cars so its that much easier.

thats why theyre called "MR". technically correct... but somewhat subtle differences.

i seen the website and its the still not in front and ive owned an 89 mr2 and the engine more towards the rear of the car. mid or rear makes no difference its still not in the front which means its in the rear. common sence is not a common virtue.

I'm saying that it's mid engined. It's called mid engine for a reason. The term is widely used everywhere and there is a difference. Compare the position of the MR2 engine to a rear engine porsche. I never said it was in the front. Read the first post I made. Either way, no need to get off topic anymore than we already have.

The engine is on the forward side of the axles, that makes it a mid engine. if it were behind, that would be a rear. So now that thats settled. back on topic.
