Tape your headlights so they don't accidentally get scratched
In NYC, it was so nice out that I finally went ahead and replaced the horns. Took off the front bumper (first time doing it to the CX-9). Honestly, trying not to break the plastic clips while taking off the bumper was probably the hardest part LMAO. I’m going to go ahead and replace both driver and passenger front wheel moldings next. I also noticed I was missing a couple screws and clips underneath so I’m going to replace those as well.
It wasn’t difficult at all. I initially removed the cable of the horns, then the bolts. The hi-note horn has two 10mm bolts, while the low-note had one. I replaced them with OEM horns. Both horns cost $102 with shipping and taxes, so not a bad deal in my opinion. Was it difficult at all to replace the horns? What did you change them out with?
