Flspeed i would definitely move that ground wire....that shielding wire is not really a good ground at all....hopefully this is your fix

Regrounded the wire and still same problems. I trimmed the injection back 0.982 and got a good idle but misfires. Im gonna get new plugs tomorrow and see if that helps.

I would bet a lot of it has to do with injection. I'm using an mpi and have a very similiar issue. I've been slowly making adjustments to what I think is the injection pulse and it is slowly getting better. Can you tune on the fly with the emanage or do you have to stop and turn the car off like the ssafc?

Nope. You can tune on the fly. I think my plugs are shot from running really rich during a previous tuning. I even replaced my temp sensor thinking it could cause these issues but its still not running right. Im gonna pull my codes today and see what going on with it.

Ok. I pulled the code and it was the P0102 Low MAF Voltage. I put new plugs in and clear the code. It still cranks about 10 times before it starts when its cold but it starts and idles at 14.7 afr. I took it for a drive but had to fatten up the injection pretty high. It did get into boost w/ 10.5 afr but I couldnt stay in it to long before it shot up to 17. I ajusted my O2 clamp to 0.2V and it seemes better. Still the cold start issue is bugging me. I figured by setting clamp to between 3V and 2V it will tell the ecu that its running a little lean and add more fuel in boost. Any ideas?

Finally got it running and boosting fairly descent. I still have a starting issue. This morning it started and ran after cranking it for a while but then I went to start it when leaving my office and it stumbled and wouldnt idle until I gave it gas and started driving it for a while. Still not sure whats going on. I changed my trim up to 1.000 and got it to boost without going too lean. It boost in the 10.5 to 14.5 range. I think I just need to figure out the starting issue that is probably causing all these other issues. The only thing I can think of is the OEM fuel pump, which is brand new, isnt working properly.

If this issue wasn't happening before the EManage install, i would bet it has something to do with the install. Or the Emanage unit itself....By trim u mean fuel injector change factor???? I don't get why you need to change that constantly.

Dumb question but, have you set your throttle input voltages??? It's in the parameter folder at the bottom. I no longer had the P0102 after i did this. But the map i sent you should already have it done

And i wasn't sure if you answered about the high impedance injectors...they are high impedance correct? Very important

The long cranking issue was there before I put the emanage in. Right before the emanage went in it stopped running and I put a new fuel pump in and still wouldnt run then I figured out that I had a bad fpr. I put a new one in and it started but still had a long cranking issue. At this point I dont think its the emanage. The trim is the correction factor and I set it to 1.000 and it runs fine in boost but could be connected to what ever issue is causing the long cranking start issue. I have a set of wrx 440 injectors. Not sure if they are high impedence. What would be different about the impedance in reference to the emenage?

Chris, did you have the cranking issue before the 440s?

WRX 440's should be high impedance. Our cars run high impedance....if you don't you can cause computer damage. Weird, my correction factor is like .696 or something--and they are RC 440's. I'm pretty sure something is up with your MAF perhaps.

I swapped MAFs with a friend and it still had the issue. We swapped a ton of parts except the IAC which is what I am thinking. Is there a way to clean it?
