Ya this is why i just went for the non-msp ecm to start with. On my current map settings idle is a bit stumbly but builds boost smoothly and powerfully.Flspeed what size inj's are you running?

I pmed you but I will put it out here too. I am running 440's with a GT28rs. I am having a slow start issue but fires up after about ten seconds of cranking. I should get my ecm soon and hopefully it will take care of the idle issue and timing issue below 4000 rpms.

well lets work on getting your car running right first before we got switching stuff otu like the maf. lol

What he said ^^^^^ lol. There are more zeros on my add'l fuel map than you may think. I started by adding a little fuel .5 where my turbo starts spooling @2500ish rpm, keeping anything out of boost at stock setting. I then put a larger number like 35%or so at 120kpa(17ish psi), and 7000rpm. Then highlight the boxes from point to point, then hit interpolate button. Fills in the rest of the squares for you at even intervals. It was a good place for me to start. Interpolate button is your friend for smooth power fuel delivery.

You may need to add fuel at idle to achieve 14.7ish AFR's. I did this and it starts up just fine

Ok. I put in the ecu and it idles perfect but when I tap the gas it has a lean tip. I took it for a little drive and started adding fuel an it would go lean and hit fuel cut. I didnt get into it to hard because Im on stock internals. It still has a slow start issue. I check the injectors with some starter fluid and everything seems fine. Any ideas?

see if jspeed will float you his map. I know its not ideal for the 28 but should be a good starting point

Ya it def. could be a vacuum leak then. I'll try to send you my map to see if it works for ya. Unfortunately i'm at work so i'll try later

Also if all goes well with that, check your o2 clamp....the adjuster on the actual pressure switch part should switch just after vacuum is applied to it, that way it is already switched on before you hit boost

I made mine. It works the same except as soon as is see's 1 psi it switches and holds 0.4V. Im gonna change all my vac lines tomorrow.

In the support tool program, double check your main unit settings...should tell you where your rotary knobs are set at...all should be at "0"....and the other rotary knobs where you take the faceplate off to set should be "3" "A" "1"....other than that i don't see why you have the starting issue!

Ok. Maybe thats it. I have it on my O2 ground. The O2 shielding wire. Its almost like I have a bad sensor. Every time I first start it and tap the gas is goes lean and wants to die then rebounds real quick and goes rich. It will crank about ten times before it starts when its cold and when its hot it still will crank about 5 times then start. Any ideas?
