ALL YOU EMANAGE HATERS.....i'm up and running 440 RC's, 12psi for now, 10.0 afr's WOT with minimal tuning effort... more tuning to come...rips the tires loose in 2nd easily
Did A LOT of research and wanted to try this engine management cuz i got it for free....haha
My setup:
Emanage blue with support tool software v1.49
Greddy injector harness
homemade ignition harness (from extra wires from inj. harness)
flyin miata o2 voltage clamp
Protege ES computer

I have a lot more to learn but willing to help whoever has questions about this unit. As far as working on a MSP ECU, i will never know. Read a lot about the stock MSP ECU re-learning around adjustments, so i installed a Protege ES ECU to avoid the bulls***.

I've read that before but my question is... your reg pro ecu, does it have abs and all that ect on it? I know the stock speedo runs off of abs but dont know if it has to go through the ecu to make the guages work. Also is it a ATX or MTX ecu.. i assume mtx but hey you never know.

I am trying to run my MSP ecu and it does try to learn around the changes. If a different ecu is the fix I would love to know which one. I have the EMB with every sensor you can buy and a O2 voltage clamp all installed. The clamp works and starts to do its job but then the stock ecu starts learning and correcting. Unfortunately it corrects by adding air and messing up timing.

Just got my Greddy MAP sensor in the mail today too...will be hooking it up soon and going to the dyno

I know Brian you suggest a Haltech....lol you are the man, love the MP5T

But by the way, this unit is called a pig-gy-bac-kkk

If anyone has the .gsc file that used to come with the O2 clamp let me know. Supposedly there is a emanage file that will make the O2 clamp work better.

Odd, all of the protege ecu's used the same software, the msp and mp3 have a different tune is the only difference to my knowledge.

Where did you find the info stating its only the msp that learns around them? I know at least one mp3 ecu learned around a piggy back

Different parms that trip the ecu into open loop

Is your clamp set at 0.4V or 0.3V? I think my issue is the ecu. The timing is off at lower rpms. Are you running the antistall?

I starting messing with the add injection tabels and was able to get into boost farily solidly. The issue is everything below 4,000 rpm. hopefully the different ecu will deal with this issue.
