Actually, according to some people in the Pacific island zone (I forget which place exactly, maybe New Guinea), human flesh tastes most like pork. So they refer to human meat as "Long Pig."

I also seem to recall there was a band in the 80s called the Long Pigs.

yeah pig is also very closely related to humans... genetically that is. thats why we can grow DNA modified pigs' hearts/ livers etc able to be transplanted into humans.

I've had a lot of venison (sp). it couldn't be too different from reindeer.
