Im guilty of that today
Im guilty of that today when shopping, you start getting extremely impatient with your slow ass sister taking FOREVER to try s*** on, cause you know you are gonna be going to mexico tomorrow and wont be able to drive for a week, cause she insisted on driving her damn civic, and also all of a sudden you dont feel like spending as much $$ on clothes as you normally would, cause you keep thinking...wait, i wanna save this for my car...
and now im back from shopping, and its too late to go driving...or at least i cant think of an excuse to go

When you spend 20mins to find the perfect parking space in an empty parking lot, making sure that from every angle in the lot someone will be able to see the car.
Edit: When shopping for your family and friends you end up the automotive section buying cleaning supplies for your car.
And when you get back from your shopping you find some punk has parked right next to you.

when you're actually happy to pick up your sister from some event just a few minutes away...
when u yell at your parents for driving the way they do...
when u spend half of the time in class doodling 'mazdaspeed protege' in different fonts or drawing the side profile or front side of your car...
when u wake up in a cold sweat dreaming of driving through the mountain side...
when all u think about is shifting to the next gear in your car...
when u constantly take different angled pictures of your car, even though u already have them...
when u don't have anywhere to go during lunch, you just drive around for the hell of it...
when your girlfriend thinks that you like your car more than you like her...
when you fanatically defend your car in every situation...

--spending 45 minutes in the garage staring at your car
--deciding to take the route home with heavier traffic so more people can see your car
--taking the way home that takes an hour longer just so you can take the twisties
--hand washing, polishing and waxing the car in 35 degree weather because the car wash might scratch it up
--giving the thumbs up to other mazdas, including MPVs and old Mazda pickups

try it and you will see, put the car in 5th and then try and move it down into reverse
...When telling stories about your car people think you are talking about an actual person, some damn fine woman you saw at the mall, or some kind of wild beast

Thanks for telling, but I know that. All newer cars begining with 1997 models I believe, have that feature. BUT it works only when you are in 5th gear and trying to switch to reverse straight from 5th. When you are in 5th, put it in neutral and then it will go into reverse. ...when you refuse to go get food for your sick girlfriend at the time just because its snowing and you dont want to risk damaging your car in any way.
...when you'd rather risk driving your protege for 15 hours to another state on bald tires than taking a plane.
...when your girlfriend asks "can we FINALLY take my car? just once?"
