Yet another blown engine!

I blew my engine tonight!!! I was taking my friend, who was looking to buy a Mazdaspeed, for a test drive in my car and i took off from the stop sign. I went 1st to second, and then let off. I got back on it at 3rd after that and all of the suddend parts started flying under the car and then the engine shut off and i coasted to a stop while my engine smoked away. I took it home and looked underneath the car. The driver-side corner of the oil pan was ripped apart and the bottom part of the block was in pieces. Well, needless to say I'm f***ed and now i have to bring it down to mazda and pray that it is under warrenty!!!

Why wouldn't it be? You can't be over on miles. If you've been modding the engine, good luck.

yep. cranked boost or engine mods= no warranty. my car cost me over 2000 to fix.

take all the mods off your car, i.e. boost controller etc then take it to the dealership, just be happy the car doesn't have a data logger

even if you take the mods off, they will still have reasonable doubt and not cover it. HOPEFULLY you didnt mod it.
