yellowmsp035's Engine/Turbo Build

Nice man, reminds me of my last few engine builds. Maybe you already answered it, but what turbo is that? I'm runnin a TA3405 60 trim FWIW, nice to see another "big boost" pro up here!

P.s. Before you go any further get rid of those god awful nology wires. Search as to why, but trust me. Nothing but problems for all us turbo guys...

the turbo is a Garrett GT35R 0.63A/R.. the smallest of the 35 family.. i did that for a reason for the quickest spool on the biggest turbo for the engine.

Off topic, but what size intercooler are you running?

28x9x3.5 with 3" piping (boom05)

so heres a lil update.. no real "build" progress to tell you about.. but i got more of it apart and ready for machining and reassembly.

thinking of rebuilding another head a different way. the one i have now is full port and polish, 5 angle valves and oem springs.

i have bought the double springs and titanium retainers and will be picking up the 1mm oversize valves very soon (;)). then i will be installing the Integral stage 2.5 cams. these all require machining to fit so im thinking of selling the built head i have now and machining the stock head i have on the old blown engine, instead of taking apart the built one and remachining it all.

anyone interested.. ?

anyways, heres some updated pics

I don't want to be saying things if I'm not 100% sure...

According to the Production Number Plate thread, Canada doesn't have them.(canada)

when you disconnected your driveshaft, did you just disconnect it from the trans and leave it attached on the hubs?
