XelderX's T25 Pro5 thread

Most of the major components are here, but I can't really do much until I get the manifold. I'm going to drain the oil and get started on the oil pan this weekend. Other than mounting the mid-pipe I'm stuck for right now. I can't really run any of the oil/coolant lines or route the IC pipes until I get the turbo mounted. Once the manifold gets here things will move much quicker.

Alright...good update.

The manifold arrived. The turbo is now bolted in the car. I've made the oil feed line and installed it along with the Speedcircuit oil tee. Now I need to finish the coolant lines and oil return line. I think I've figured out a way to use the metal part of the stock oil return line along with some hose and convert it to fit the -10 AN fitting I'll be using in the oil pan. That helps me keep the return line off the S-pipe.

I have pictures, but my home internet is not working right now. Hopefully I can post them tomorrow.

Looks like the oil return line plan is going to work out. I'll get some pictures tomorrow. I got the oil pan drilled out yesterday and I'll be putting it back on today. I used a Russell fuel cell fitting instead of welding a bung to the pan. Once I get the pan bolted back into place I can install the J/Mid-pipe and finish the coolant lines. Then all that is left will be the IC pipes. I wanted to do them first, but the other stuff has just gone so quick it was easy to knock it all out in a few days.

Finally got my internet back. A few pictures of the recent work. My sister ran of to the beach with my camera again so it might be a while before I have pics of the oil drain line and exhaust.

Yea...I'm stuck again waiting for what should be the last of my parts shipments. I have the FMIC pipes thought out and I just need to get a shop to bend them for me. I'm waiting on a few more couplers from ATP and a BOV to be shipped. My goal is to have a drivable car by next weekend if all the parts arrive.

You are going to love it! It puts a grin on my face every time. In fact, a little too much--I'm like "Whoa buddy need to slow down there." It was nice when I didn't have to do that because physics took care of being slow for me :D

It'll be cool to see how it runs with your mods and the MSP ECU. I need to get my ass tuning. I've got some real flat spots in my powerband and still run rich, although not like it was. I pulled one plug and it was pretty dang sooty from gas.

quick question. that second picture, where the oil return line is, where exactly is that tapping into?

The large SS line in that picture is the return line from my relocated oil filter. My oil filter is located behind the driver side headlight now. I'll probably have to move it to allow some room for the IC pipe, but I'll just move it up and back a little.

Hey Patrick, I almost forgot. I ordered that vacuum block the same as you from McMasters. How is it working out for you? Seems like it will be an easy thing to set up.

Nice! I haven't had any problems with it at all. Wish I could say the same about my BOV, which doesn't seem to work at all. I have mad turkey :gobble gobble:

Very nice. It could just be the picture but your manifold flange looks bent...
Yea...it isn't an exact rectangle. They made it kind of boomerange shaped for whatever reason.

I like the turkey sound. I'm getting the newer SSQV. We'll see how it does.
