Guys! look what i purchased yesterday! Can't wait to mount my turbo lol!
All righty! Had to gap the spark plugs down to .028" and she runs just fine now. Pulls strong up to about 8psi. You can tell the ECU is running way too rich though. There is a big flatspot in the midrange where it just doesn't pull as hard. Good 'ole MSP ECU for you.

u dont have MSP Ecu? u should have buy one..
I'm running the MSP ECU. It is notorious for running too rich. I can live with it like that for now. At least I know it's safe.
i run a n/a protege ecu on my msp (laugh)
Yea..I don't doubt it. My Protege5 ECU was good for about 11.5:1 A/F at WOT.
Next major thing I need to get installed within the next week or two is an oil cooler. I'm not sure where I want to mount it though. I'm running out of room behind the bumper and I really don't want anything else in front of the radiator. I'm thinking I might mount one over the hole where the CAIs usually go into the fender well. The I could run some ducting up to it and maybe a small fan on top of it. That would look pretty trick.

With the turbo the oil going to my relocated filter is much much hotter than before. The MSP's have a cooler, but it's not very efficient and coolant based so it just makes the coolant hotter. If I can get this to fit over behind the driver's headlight I'll be set.

Well I measured and there just isn't enough room between the headlight and the fuse box for a cooler that big. My other two options is to go with a smaller motorcycle cooler in the same spot (probably not enough) or to put a larger cooler behind the front upper grill. I'll be measuring and doing some research on that today.

I had an interesting issue the last few days. Thanks to Barry, the MPI display, and a Scangauge we discovered a faulty #1 O2 sensor. It was throwing the car into open loop at very low load inputs causing it ti run rich and stumble when not in boost. The wiring was rechecked and did not fix it so we took the sensor out and cleaned it. It took about 20 minutes before it started working correctly again, but it seems OK for now.
