Yea, we bought it knowing it needs a repaint, a bit over two grand...paint for True Red (Speed3 color) is gonna be $800 through a buddy of mine...has 120,000 miles...1990...body is flawless though so that was a huge selling point...

Best one around we could find...very fun to drive...we took a 400 mile plus trip in it on Saturday...first trip I have taken that hasn't been in the Protege...

That is with him painting the car...$300 labor, $500 or so in paint...he did my 02 Civic two tone black/white for me about 3 years ago, $1000 for it...thing is though that he does it in his spare time it took him 3 weeks on the Civic, he said this would take 2-3...he pretty much works on it when he wants to...has a huge 4 car garage out back that he has converted into a massive paint booth...everything except engine bay will be painted...
