I know. Lol

and stock turbo is fine. Fmic, bov, Sri, 626 im, ss afc, and vibrant exhaust is my plan

Dub, you must ride or drive a msp! That will REALLY get you off your arse and working on the car!

I am still giddy like a school girl and I drove it 3 hours ago!

wow i wonder what wud happen if you drove ugghh a m3 E92..

Good luck with getting it. from my experience, you have to have everything sold, and be ready to buy another car. Parting out and trading in doesnt work so well on the spot.

N dub good luck with the boost..and trans swap. Then you will require a DD, or "work" car.

will be doing a part out then selling and hopefully going the day it sells to get themsp. They are cool with my plan. Just gotta get crackin and check numbers first

Back on the market for boost, if you got any hits, lmk asap. I already got my money building so I'll be ready to pay for some stuff.

J-naoto is my co-pilot in operation "All Show, No Go", thank you for joining me on this journey PK. (evil)

what a buzzkill...

and what makes you think a boosted protege isn't a DD? I've been using mine to both drive to and for work for over a year now..

Same here for over 2 and a half years. Boosted DD for 39000km, not one problem! It would be ideal for Dub to have a winter beater if he lived in a climate that would might justify it, but his car would be fine for DD year round if it were boosted and slammed.

And there goes his spot of confusion again, lol.

IMHO, you build a car to drive it, not to garage it. Cars are meant to be driven, show off your work. Seeing trailer cars rolling in to shows, sweeping up all the money and trophies, not my style. Just a money pit that sits in a garage under covers. Drive it!

My car has the paint chips to prove it. Pissed me off at first, but hey, it's proof that it's driven every day.

I meant because of value and delicacy. Thats why i said work car.

You guys were never buzzed in the first place(lol2)
pfft shows what you know. I went to the bar tonite... (found out "my" bar... got sold and the new owners are redoing it and reopening next month.... (sadbanana))

if you built it delicate, you built it wrong. if you need a work TRUCK thats a whole nother story... but whats the fun in building a garage queen? there was a MSP for sale here locally for 16K, with 11K on the clock... he had to have had 25K stuck in it... thats a waste in my book.

I guess you all take your cars that you have invested time and money in for granted, and that you can drive them everyday, in ANY kind of condition or situation without tearing up on them.

I know hes young and probly cant afford it, but i only meant that his car wud be on the next level by adding turbo, along with the thousands of dollars of aesthetics he has invested.

If I try to explain any further, It wud be an even bigger buzzkill, but i will just say "RUSH"

well then by all means, NEVER use ANYTHING you have invested money in. IT COULD BREAK!

is that the logic here? because you have money for 2 things in life:
1) survival
and when you have that covered
2) enjoyment

a garage queen is neither in my book. sure, wrenching is fun. but the payoff is part of the fun. sure having a beater is nice (especially where it snows) but... there are many luxuries in life, choose those which are important to you.

I agree with Wagon. I work on my car to go enjoy it. I like to show where my money goes, and that I have fun doing it. Heck maybe it will come in handy on the survival part, when thugs are chasing me through the streets, ya never know!!
