xDJ DUBx's 03.5 Pure White LX-T

Damn dude, only thing I got left is the splash guard. I'll pay for your gas and buy you lunch if you come up in exchange?

thats fine...i still think it would be pretty useful to know how to take apart the tranny...

Cool Albert, I appreciate the helping hand. I feel a little better since you've boosted and un-boosted your car a few times. lol.

I plan on pulling as much off the p5 as possible one weekend, then doing the swap the next weekend. That way my car is down a little as possible. Would you wanna come up both weekends or just the swap weekend?

Wait a second, did you mean thats fine as in "No thanks, since you don't have the parts I'm cool" or as "Yeah sure, I'll come up for the gas money and free food" ?

...I hate the internet sometimes.

haha...im down to head up there...i cant come by this weekend, but im down for next

Oh alright, well im gonna be going to TBCM so I'm not gonna start til after next weekend then. I pmed you for your celly (thumb)

Just out of curiosity, how come you brought that in here and not in the protege thread? lol.

I mean I don't mind, it was just kind of random.

Hey Greg did you ever do anything with the lower bulb in your taillights? I remember you said the LED taillights were brighter. I think the bottom from the factory uses the 3.7W 194 bulb. You could swap in some W5W license plate lights. They're 5W and would be a little brighter if you wanted to experiment.

As of right now, they're still halogen but eventually every single blub will be led. I already got the headlights done and the most expensive part of the tail lights done.

It looks so obvious to me that the brake lights are led and the running lights aren't cause when I lock my car, the lights flash, so the brake light is instantly on and the rest drag. haha.

I noticed that too, lol. I went with LEDs for my front turn signals, front side markers, brake lights, and rear signals. They last too!!! Almost 4 years with all those now I think. I only had a brief problem with one signal bulb that was defective.
